Getting Started¶
Signing up¶
- Create your account with your name, email, and a password.
- Set up your organisation. If you're starting fresh, you'll name your business, choose your industry (retail, hospitality, pharmacy, and so on — this tailors the products to how your business actually works), and pick a size. If a colleague has already set up your organisation, you can join it instead by searching for it and requesting access.
- Choose a plan. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial, so you can try the platform with your own data before committing. See Subscriptions & Billing for how plans and trials work.
- You're in — the person who creates the organisation becomes its administrator, with access to invite the rest of the team and configure settings.
Every future sign-in — for you and every product you use — goes through the same central login; see Signing In for what that screen looks like and the other ways in (Google/Microsoft/GitHub, passkeys).
Setting up branches¶
If your business operates from more than one location — a second shop, a central warehouse, a different outlet type — add each one as a branch under My Organization → Branches. The use case you pick per branch (retail, hospitality, pharmacy, and so on) decides which products and item types that branch actually uses — see Branches for the full walkthrough. A single-location business can skip this entirely and keep using its one default branch.
Adding your team¶
Once your organisation is set up, invite your staff under My Organization → Team:
- Email — an existing account is added directly; a brand-new email gets an account created on the spot, with a temporary password shown to you once to share securely.
- Role — cashier, manager, accountant, and so on, depending on the product. Each product has its own set of roles suited to how that part of the business runs (a POS cashier's permissions look different from an ERP payroll administrator's), but everyone logs in through the same account.
- PIN (optional) — set it now or later; this is what staff type on a shared till or warehouse tablet's PIN login screen instead of a full email/password sign-in.
- Outlet (optional) — ties the member to one branch, if you've set any up.
See Managing Your Organisation → Team for the full walkthrough, including changing a role or resetting a password later.
Adding a product¶
Your organisation isn't locked into the products you picked at signup. As your business grows — or if you're expanding into a new part of the business — you can add another product (say, moving from just POS to also using Treasury for full accounting) without creating a new account or re-entering your team. See Billing to pick a plan for a new product.
Getting help¶
Each product includes its own in-app guidance for day-to-day tasks — see the Service Guides for step-by-step, screenshot-led walkthroughs of Inventory, Notifications, and Treasury. Beyond what's written down, the chat icon on any page reaches Vera, the platform's AI assistant, which can escalate to your account contact when it can't answer something itself.
